Pop-Up Art for Adults: Felted Countryside

Begin with a terra-cotta saucer as a frame, and learn how to needle felt a bucolic scene
with wool. You’ll learn a mix of flat and 3D needle felting. Start by adding wool to the
base. Then add accents of color to the fields and water to create interest. Next, sculpt the
wool to make a house, trees, sheep and accents.

Needle felting is fun, relaxing and easier than it looks. You’ll leave the class with the tools
and knowledge you need to needle felt on your own. Register on the Town of Scituate Library website. All events free!
