FCC Applications

On 11/1/2024, WFNX-LP completed the construction and testing of our FM signal and commenced regular operations. As an LPFM station, we are authorized to begin operations immediately upon completion of our facilities without prior Commission approval (Automatic Program Test Authority). However, within 10 days of starting operations, we are required to file FCC Form 319 to cover our construction permit (License to Cover).

On 11/4/2024 (first business day after commencing operations), WFNX-LP filed FCC Form 319 for a License to Cover which was granted by the Commission on 11/6/2024.


On December 06, 2023, Scituate Community Radio, applicant for a new Low Power FM broadcast station on 101.3 in Scituate, Massachusetts, filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for an original construction permit for a new station. Scituate Community Radio submitted an application to the FCC for a Low Power FM broadcast station construction permit on 12/06/2023. When an online public notice must be made for a new station (not currently on the air), the notice must be made on the organization’s website or other publicly accessible means other than social media.
